We'd love your help!

Some extra hands

Prefer to get involved in a different way? We'd appreciate some help with the various tasks of this event - especially on the day.

We actually have approximately 150 volunteer slots to fill to make the day a success!

What's involved

Some of the help we need includes:

  • joining us at 5:30am to help set up :)
  • helping out with bib collection and registrations
  • providing directions as a marshal at the oval or out on the course
  • helping at the drink stops
  • helping to run activities for kids on the oval
  • selling raffle tickets
  • handing out medallions as runners cross the finish line
  • helping to pack up and clean up after the event

Youth volunteers (under 18 years) will be assigned to an age-appropriate task and will be paired up with another youth buddy or an adult who has a Working With Children Check Number that we have validated.  

Duke of Edinburgh, Girl Guides, Scouts and School volunteers are very welcome to sign up.  Just email helen.jarvis@kyds.org.au for help with any paperwork that you need signed off to confirm your volunteering contribution.
